This type of hood is called a cowl induction. This induction is about six inches high. They are not very expensive even though it takes a lot to make them. This site also includes blogs about projects that others are working on. Like if you were working on a car and you got stumped on how to install a part on the car you could post it and someone would reply back on how to install it.
