Twilight, by Stephenie Meyer

Have you ever wanted to be lost in a mind of imagination? Run away with vampires? Fall in love with a vampire? Well, the book Twilight is for you. Twilight is about a girl named Bella Swan moving from Phoenix Arizona to live with her dad Charley in the rainiest place in the world, Forks Washington. Bella is sent right to school and meets some friends. Well, that is when she notices Edward Cullen. At first Edward avoids Bella as much as possible, and when he finally figures out that he can't use his power to read her mind he slowly start falling in love with her. Bella has suspicious clues about Edward until, he rescues her from a truck that is about to squish her. Then Bella started reading books about defaultvampires and collecting clues. Bella soon figures out that Edward is a REAL vampire and that he is madly in love with her.

Little did Bella know that she would be in a lot of trouble?  As Bella and Edward spend more and more time with each other they fall in more love with each other. Everyday she was with Edward it was more and more dangerous for her. Well, one day Edward takes Bella to his house to play baseball and Bella's luck starts to run out. A bad vampire named James and his crew of three we hunting which means that they were hungry. Well, they smell Bella's sent and the chase was on. Bella and Edward quickly got pack and headed down to Arizona to where Bella would be safe. They stayed in a hotel and waited until Bella got a phone call about one of the bad vampires had her mother. Do you think that Bella will save her mother from the hungry vampires, before it's too late?

Holi Hai Festival

Have you ever wanted to run around and throw paint on people, talk to someone you don't usually get to talk to, or just play and do what ever you want. Well, the Holi Hai festival is the one for you and it takes place either at the end of February or the very begining of March.

This festival also represents the new life and begining of spring. Dan Sullivan says,

"Colours will fill the atmosphere as people throw abeer and gulal in the air showing great joy and mirth in the arrival of this Spring Festival." "The event is not just to strengthen the South Asian community; it's meant to strengthen the entire Tucson community."

On this very particular day all the people of India come together from all different classes to celebrate what is most important to them, which rejoicing with everyone and not having to worry about which class they are in. People celebrate this very big festival and throw powder on each other. On this one day the people are able to interact without having to be punished by the law.
